 Frequently Asked Questions

  • You need to be 18 years or older to get a tattoo in Malta. It is illegal to tattoo anyone under the age of 18, even with parental consent. A valid ID needs to be presented as proof of age when booking a tattoo.

  • To make an appointment, please submit a contact form - the more details and reference photos you can provide, the better! Alternatively, you may send us a message on Instagram or stop by the studio for a chat!

  • We are primarily a custom tattoo studio. This means the price of your tattoo will vary according to the design, size and placement. However, the studio minimum price for a tattoo is €50.

  • Your artist will always provide you with an aftercare plan after your appointment, both verbally and as a printout. We also have aftercare products available at Moko.
    You may also find our aftercare information here.

  • We offer complimentary touch ups after your appointment for all tattoos except hand and foot tattoos. We may also charge for a touch up appointment if the provided aftercare instructions are not followed.

  • To book an appointment we kindly ask for a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit which will be deducted from the total cost of your tattoo. The deposit not only serves to reserve your spot, but it also serves as insurance to our artists should a client not attend their appointment without warning. More information regarding deposits will be provided during a consultation.
